Hidden down a long driveway off of Durham Street is a mobile home that was reported to be on fire with flames coming out the bedroom window.
Once again the Soddy-Daisy Fire Department accomplished what is said to be a rare event for most departments. They stopped the spread of the fire containing it to the bedroom in a mobile home.
Two Engines and about 15 firefighters responded to the daytime fire and had the fire knocked down within minutes.
